Frozen meals
Dairy products
Other essential grocery items
Many of these items are close to expiration, allowing us to redistribute them quickly and reduce food waste while feeding families across our counties.
Georgia Power is supporting the creation of a mobile grocery distribution unit by:
Funding a truck and trailer
Providing $30,000 for outfitting refrigeration and freezer units
Helping Operation Lunchbox extend reach to more than the current 35 counties toward a future goal of serving all 159 Georgia counties
This initiative will reshape how we distribute food and reach families across the state.
Packing parties continue to be one of the most engaging and high-impact ways groups support our mission. Businesses, churches, schools, and organizations can host events at their own locations.
